Editorial policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This is the standard we hold articles on the 8frame blog to. Older articles are being re-checked against it. An article that has been re-checked lists its sources or carries a correction note.
How articles are written
Articles are written with AI assistance. 8frame is responsible for what they say.
Where 8frame numbers come from
Prices, limits and settings for 8frame come from the product itself: the price list the app bills from and our own usage data. When we report a measurement, such as a typical generation time, we say what was measured and when.
Facts about other companies
A fact about another product links to the page of the company that makes it, with the date we checked it. If we cannot confirm something, we leave it out or say that it is unconfirmed. We do not rank models or tools on quality we have not measured.
Corrections
When we find an error, we fix it and add a dated correction note at the top of the article that says what was wrong.
Translations
Articles in Spanish, Portuguese, German and French are translations of the English originals, made with AI assistance. If a translation and the English article disagree, the English article is the reference.
Not professional advice
Articles that touch on law, licensing or advertising rules are general information, not legal advice.
